Helen L. Salesman

Helen L. Salesman, 85, of Mason City died at the Mason City Area Nursing Home at 5:04 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2006. She was born to Erastus and Hilda Grace (Howard) Walker on October 24, 1920 in Fulton, MO. She Married James Richard “Dick” Salesman on December 19, 1953 at the Centralia, MO Christian Church.

Surviving are her husband Dick Salesman and son Richard Lee Salesman, both of Mason City. Also surviving are one sister: Edith Marie Schurr of Westlake, OH and one brother: Robert Walker of Bowling Green, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two step-brothers.

Mrs. Salesman was a member of the Mason City United Methodist Church and the Mason City Legion Auxillary. She also attended church services at the Mason City Assembly of God.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at the Mason City Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City. Rev. Stephen King and Rev. James Sprinkel will officiate.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Mason City United Methodist Church, Mason City Assembly of God, Bible Breakfast Men at the Methodist Church or to the Mason City Area Nursing Home.
