Helen L. Stier 1917 - 2006 Helen L. Stier of Fruitland Park, Florida, died Tuesday November 21, 2006 at 7:53 a.m. at Local Residential Medical Center in Leesburg, FL.. She was born October 14, 1917 in Cass County, IL. To Harve L. and Alma Schoneweis Boeker. She married Gerald L. Stier September 12, 1939 in Petersburg, IL. He preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons Albert (wife Anna) Stier of Petersburg, and Rev. Don L. (wife Elaine) Stier of Hinckley, Mn., five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Her husband, one brother, one grandson Marc A. Stier preceed her in death. Mrs. Stier was a homemaker, a member of the Petersburg United Methodist Church, women’s club, ladies bridge group; singles dance group and the avion campers. The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Petersburg United Methodist Church. Pastor Robert Shook will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. on Monday morning, also at the church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. |
