Helen Isabel Yardley 1925 - 2006 Helen Isabel Yardley, 81, of Mason City died at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln at 10:35 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2006. She was born June 20, 1925 in Pennsylvania, TWP in Mason County to Lee Roy and Nellie Marie (Hardin) Kittle. She married Kenneth Yardley in Mason City in 1950. He died July 1, 1995. Mrs. Yardley is survived by one niece: Sandi (Ken) Cunningham of Mason City, and one nephew: Larry (Linda) Rigdon of Normal, IL; and four great-nephews, Tyler, Bryce and Spencer Cunningham and Chad Rigdon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister Leora Rigdon. Mrs. Yardley was a member of the Mason City Assembly of God and the Mason City Women’s Club. She was a graduate of Easton High School and had worked for Lee Brothers, Kairos, and the State of Illinois Drivers License Facility in Mason City. She later owned and operated the Book Nook in Mason City. Funeral services will be held at the Mason City Assembly of God on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mason City Cemetery. Rev. James Sprinkel will officiate.
