Howard L. Arnold

(1913-2008)

Howard L. Arnold, 95 of Mason City died at 8:10pm Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Mason City Area Nursing Home.  He was born May 3, 1913 the son of Roy and Kathleen (Lynch) Arnold in Mason City.  Mr. Arnold married Hazel M. Boyer on July 25, 1936 in Mason City; she died November 10, 2002.

Survivors are three sons: William (Janice) Arnold of Mason City, Robert (Connie) Arnold of Mason City, Delbert (Pat) Arnold of White Plains, MD; three daughters: Bonnie (Don) Onken of Easton, Connie (Bob) Kemp of Mason City, Cheryl (Bert) Hill of Lincoln; one sister: Wanda Nessler of Phoenix, AZ; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Mr. Arnold is preceded in death by his wife, daughter, two great-grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters.

Services will be 11:00am, Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City, visitation will be one hour prior to service.  Burial will at Mason City Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be left to the Mason City Area Nursing Home Activity Department.  Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements.
