Harold Cecil Propst

(1928-2005)

Harold Cecil Propst of Petersburg, IL died 2:05 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2005 at Menard Convalescent Center.  He was born March 18, 1928 to Edward and Missouri (Taylor) Propst in Greenview, IL. 

Survivors include one brother:  Carl (Wilma) Propst of Greenview, IL; one sister: Mildred (Bob) Brown of Petersburg, IL and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Mr. Propst served in the Army during WWII.  After leaving the Army he worked at Caterpillar.

Services for Mr. Propst were held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2005 at Hurley Funeral Home in Greenview, IL.   Burial was in Sweetwater Cemetery in Menard County.
