Idella E. Griffin Hagvall 1911 - 2008
Idella E. Griffin Hagvall, 96, of Havana, passed away at 7:45 p.m. at Mason District Hospital in Havana on Saturday, April 5, 2008. She was born July 7, 1911 in Saidora Twp. in Mason Co., IL to Jacob Lee and Louise (Daniel) Griffin. She married Edward Leroy Hagvall on January 5, 1944 in Easton. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1975. Mrs. Hagvall is survived by one brother, Flloyd H. Griffin of Topeka, IL and one sister, Hallie Eileen Johnson of Peoria, IL, three nieces: Laura M. Griffin and Marjorie E. (David) Wheeler of Lincoln, IL and Nancy Ann Johnson of Peoria, IL; one great niece Amy L. Wheeler and one great-great niece Tiffany M. Barnes, both of Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers: Emmett B. Griffin and Otis L. Griffin. She was a member of the Forest City Community Church Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Tom Duengerich officiating.
