Chandlerville, IL - Ina Mae Carlock, 78, of Chandlerville, IL passed away at 10:20 am Thurs., Sept. 28, 2006 at Sunny Acres Home at Petersburg, IL. She was born Sept. 15, 1928 in Chandlerville, IL the daughter of Clarence and Martha McConnell Marcy. She married Jack M. Carlock May 15, 1948 in Virginia, IL and he died Sept. 18, 2004.

Mrs. Carlock was a member of the Chandlerville Christian Church where she was active in her Sunday School, a member of the Chandlerville Woman’s Club, American Legion Post #694 Auxiliary in Chandlerville, she enjoyed flowers and having coffee time with her friends.

She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Carlock of Jacksonville, IL; Karen Boeker of Lake St. Louis, MO; and Shirley (Paul) Abbott of Pryor, OK; four grandchildren, Kristin Boeker of San Antonio, TX; Brandon Boeker of Lake St. Louis, MO; Nathan Abbott of Clarksville, AK; and Rachel Abbott of Springfield, MO and one great grandson Jaymison Boeker of Lake St. Louis, MO. Also surviving are is one sister, Mary (John) Chipman of Virginia, IL; one brother, Jack (Jo) Marcy of Goodyear, AZ; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Addison "Jocko" Marcy and one sister, Imo Gene "Flip" Dearing.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday at the Chandlerville Christian Church with Rev. Jim Waterman officiating. Burial will be in the Chandlerville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 pm Sunday at the Lintner-Hurley Funeral Home in Chandlerville.
