Irietta May Johnson 1910-2008 Irietta May Johnson, 98 of Kilbourne, died at 4:20am Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the Mason City Area Nursing Home. She was born June 21, 1910 the daughter of William D. and Della S. (Goben) Reynolds in rural Bath. She married Shirrell E. Johnson August 29, 1928 in Havana; he precedes her in death. Survivors are one daughter: Dixie (Ronald) Riegel of Easton; one son: John Johnson of Rushville; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her husband, 5 children, and 2 grandchildren. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing and was an avid card (rummy) player. Services will be 11:00am Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City; Rev. Al Sample will officiate; burial at Kilbourne Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements.
