Jack L. Henderson

(1954-2010)

Jack L. Henderson, 55, of Delavan, died at 9:22pm on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria.  He was born on February 12, 1954 the son of Richard and Alla Jean (Jackson) Henderson in Peoria.  He married Mary Otto on January 6, 1973 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Bartonville. 

Survivors are his wife Mary; one son: Kevin (Susan) Henderson of San Jose; one daughter: Andrea (Vince) Smith of San Jose; his mother, Alla; three grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his father and one brother. 

Mr. Henderson was a member of the 1^st Baptist church in San Jose where he was song leader and trustee.  He worked for Caterpillar for 31 years as a machinist and was a member of the UAW974. 

Services will be at 10:30am, Friday, January 8, 2010 at the Hurley Funeral Home in San Jose, Pastor Steven Tassell will officiate.  Visitation will also be at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4-6.  Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery.  Memorials can be made to his church.  Hurley Funeral Home in San Jose is in charge of arrangements.
