James David Lala

James David Lala, 55, of Salisbury, died on Sunday, July 15, 2007 at his residence. He was born on August 4, 1951 in Chicago, IL to James David and Ruth Ellen Todt Lala. He married Mary Elizabeth Dunn on July 4, 1984 in Springfield.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of Salisbury; five sons, James Lala of Chicago, Dan Lala of Chicago, Zachary Lala, Sean Lala, and Sam Lala all of Salisbury; three daughters, Kimberly Pittman of Chicago, Kelly Quercia of Chicago, Angie Lala of Salisbury; two brothers, George (Ellen) Lala of Wisconsin and Thomas Lala of Tennessee; three sisters, Nancy (Mark) Ress of Indiana, Sandy (Frank) Rivera of Chicago, and Kate (DC) McAuliffe of Chicago and six grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ruth and James Lala.

He worked as a technician for Ameritech Phone Company.  

Cremation rites have been accorded.  

Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg is in charge of arrangements.
