James A. Ramsey

1925 - 2009

James A. Ramsey, 84, of Manito, passed away August 1, 2009 at 9:22 p.m. at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. He was born April 7, 1925 in Havana to James R. and Lena (Miley) Ramsey. He married Betty June Zinn on July 5, 1946 in Lewistown, IL. She survives.

Mr. Ramsey is survived by five children, two sons and three daughters and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one sister.

Graveside services will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2009.

Mr. Ramsey was a maintenance foreman at Pabst Brewing for 25 years and was a WWII Navy Veteran.
