James H. Todd 1953 - 2009 James H. Todd, 56, of Chandlerville passed away at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2009 in rural Chandlerville. He was born July 13, 1953 in Georgia to Milo and Dolly (Albert) Todd. He married Diane Lacey on June 25, 1977 in Petersburg, IL. Mr. Todd is survived by his parents, of Greenview, his wife, of Chandlerville and two sons, Wade Todd of Chandlerville and Cory (Allison) Todd of Ashland. Also surviving are three brothers, Charlie (Amy) Todd of Petersburg, Mark (Cindy) Todd of Oakford and Larry Todd of Petersburg. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Mr. Todd served in the US Navy from 1971 – 1975 and in the Seabees from 1988 until 1991. He worked as a machine operator at Pactiv in Jacksonville for the past 3 ½ years. Mr. Todd’s family will receive friends and family for a memorial visitation on Monday, September 21, 2009 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the Lintner-Hurley Funeral Home in Chandlerville. Cremation rites have been accorded and scattering of cremains will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
