James A. Wallace 72, of 425 S. Schrader Havana, IL. died on March 9th. 2006 at 1:20 p.m. at Mason District Hospital. He was born on January 19, 1934 in Havana, IL to William Ray and Ana Dobson Wallace. He married Roberta "Bobbie" Rightnowar on Nov. 2 1952 in Taylorville, IL. She preceded him in death on Aug. 22, 1992.

He is survived by two daughters- Denise (Henry) Gaines of Havana and Melodie (Craig) Shaw of Havana, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, one brother William Wallace of Springfield, IL. one niece and one nephew. He was preceded in death by one brother and one son James Wallace Jr. one daughter, Laura Lee Wallace and one grandson, Eric R. Christianson.

He was a member of the VFW Aux # 6408 and an avid bowler, he also worked at Caterpillar for 35 years as a Tool Crib Attendant until he retired.

Services will be on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Laurel Hill in Havana, IL..
