Janice J. Martin

Janice J. Martin, 86, of Topeka, passed away at 1:55 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Mason District Hospital. She was born March 8, 1925 in Metamora, IL to John and Undena (Noll) Broers. She married J.B. Martin on November 16, 1946 in Manito.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband, J.B., of Havana, daughter, Roxann (Bill) Raridon of Havana, two granddaughters, Melissa (Brad) Koke and Beth Raridon as well as great-granddaughter Krista Koke, all of Havana. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.

Mrs. Martin was a member of the Havana Church of Christ. She had served as an election judge in Mason County for many years.

Funeral services will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2011 with visitation one hour prior to the services. Warren Hughes will officiate. Burial will follow the services at Presbyterian Cemetery at Topeka.
