Jason Lee Mibbs 1972 - 2007 Jason Lee Mibbs, 35, of Kilbourne, IL, died at 2:50 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2007 in Kilbourne. He was born November 2, 1972 in Springfield, IL to Michael L. and Lily A. (Shoemaker) Mibbs. Jason is survived by his parents of Kilbourne, one daughter: Kelsey Mibbs and one son: Levi Mibbs, both of Decatur. Also surviving are his brother: Joshua (fiancé Clarissa Woods) Mibbs of Kilbourne and two nieces: Karsin and Kassie MIbbs of Kilbourne, and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Jason was of the Baptist faith. He loved to hunt, fish and work on trucks. He worked in maintenance at Brauer Pork Industry in Oakford, IL. He was a graduate of Balyki High School. Funeral services will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to services. Rev. Duane Turley will officiate. Burial will follow the services at Bethel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for an educational fund for his children and can be left at the funeral home. Online memorial messages may be left for the family at www.hurleyfh.com. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements.
