Jean M. Fletcher 1930 - 2008 Havana, IL - Jean M. Fletcher, 77, of Havana passed at 4:10 am
Sat. Feb. 23, 2008 at the Mason District Hospital in Havana. She was born July
5, 1930 in Chippewa Falls, WI the daughter of Samuel and Estella O. Plante
Frederick. She married Donald "Dub" Fletcher Dec. 6, 1949 in Bath, IL and he
died March 30, 2002. Mrs. Fletcher was the secretary for the Mason County Regional
Superintendent of Schools for 30 years. She also had served as secretary for the
Laurel Hill Cemetery for many years. She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn (Steve) Morgan of
Havana; two sons, Wayne (Debbie) Fletcher of Weston, FL and Larry (Gitana)
Fletcher of Tallahassee, FL. Seven grandchildren, Leslie (Matt) Daugherty,
Lindsay Fletcher, Brooke Morgan, Fletcher Morgan, Payton Fletcher, Greyson
Fletcher and Ava Fletcher also survive along with one great great granddaughter,
Roxy Daugherty and one sister, Louise Kastel of Chippewa Falls, WI.
Services will be held at 11:00 am Tues., Feb. 26. 2008 at the Hurley Funeral
Home in Havana conducted by Pastor Dave Byrd. Burial will be in the Laurel Hill
Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mason District Hospital or the Laurel
