M. Jean McClammer

1931 - 2011



M. Jean McClammer, 80, of Havana, passed away at her home at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2011. She was born March 12, 1931 in Havana to C.A. “Kak” and Frances (McGinley) Watts. She married William McClammer on June 5, 1953 in Havana.

Mrs. McClammer is survived by her husband, William, of Havana, one son, Mike (Jackie) McClammer of Rockton, IL, two daughters, Susan (Chris) Wolfe of Madison, WI and Mary McClammer of Rockton, IL, brother, Willam (Marla) Watts of Havana, as well as four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. McClammer was a very active member of the Central Christian Church in Havana where she was involved in the Christian Women’s Fellowship. She also volunteered her time at Havana Health Care Center and at the Havana Community Thanksgiving Dinner.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana on Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at her church. Burial will follow the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.
