Jeanne F. Richardson 1929 - 2008
Jeanne F. Richardson, 78, of Canton, passed away in her home at 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2008. She was born March 25, 1929 to Forrest Raymond and Coyle (Woodard) Shilling in Browning, IL. She married Stanley Richardson in Eureka, IL on June 8, 1966. He preceded her in death on October 8, 1988. Mrs. Richardson is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Pasley of St. David, IL, one step-daughter, Rosemary Snedden of Springbay, IL, one daughter-in-law, Bonnie Mayall of Canton, IL five grandchildren: Jeffrey Nolan, Aaron Mayall, Mandi Hooker, Chris Pasley and Bryan Pasley and twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Jay (Donna) Shilling of Havana. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, two brothers, one son Dennis Lee Mayall and one step-son, Stanley Allan Richardson. Mrs. Richardson is a member of the United Methodist Church of Lewistown. She was involved in bowling leagues in Mason and Fulton Co., and a member of the Eastern Star. She had worked as a cook for the South Fulton School District and as a clerk for Gerster’s Bakery in Havana for many years. Funeral services will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana on Thursday, January 24 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the services. Rev. Dave Smallegan will officiate. Burial will follow the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church of Lewistown or to the American Cancer Society.
