Jane I. Rhinehart

1915 - 2011

Jane I. Rhinehart, 96, of Havana, passed away at Havana Health Care at 6:27 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. She was born April 19, 1915 in Burlington, IA to Roy and Lena (Graham) Kilgore. She married David Rhinehart on December 24, 1938 in Palmyra, MO. He preceded her in death on July 23, 1987.

Mrs. Rhinehart is survived by two sons, Kenneth Rhinehart of Springfield and Carl Rhinehart of Havana as well as four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. 

Mrs. Rhinehart was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Havana. She was a Registered Nurse who had worked in office and private duty. She worked at Mason District Hospital in Havana for eight years before retirement. 

Funeral services will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2011. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening. Burial will follow the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Rev. Daniel Swihart will officiate.
