Jep Anthony Grosboll

1936 - 2007

Jep Anthony Grosboll, 70, of Petersburg, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center. He was born April 1, 1936, in rural Menard County, the son of Jep G. and Clara Jean Park Grosboll.

Mr. Grosboll had been a bus driver for PORTA school district since retiring from working as a cameraman, producer, and director in public broadcasting and network television stations.

Mr. Grosboll was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church in Petersburg.

Survivors include two sons, Jep Duncan (Kim) Grosboll of Ashville, NC, Barry Douglas Meyers of North Carolina; one daughter, Cheryl Kay (David) Whitaker of Tennessee; one brother, P.J. (Judy) Grosboll of Normal; one sister, Millie (Albert) Justice of Rochester, Michigan; companion, Shirley Parker Grosboll of Sacramento, Ca; and one grandchild.

His father preceded him in death.

A memorial service  will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Central Presbyterian Church in Petersburg. The Rev. Julie Peterson will be officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Donors choice.  Cremation rites have been accorded.
