John Paul Lane Sr.

1960 - 2011

John Paul Lane Sr., 51, of Havana, passed away at Mason District Hospital in Havana at 4:08 a.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2011. He was born July 26, 1960 in Havana to Clarence and Geraldine (Hobbs) Lane.

Mr. Lane is survived by one son, John P. Lane Jr., three step children, Steve Sanders, Amanda Sanders and Kevin Sanders as well as girlfriend, Cathy Smysor of Havana. Also surviving are three brothers, Jack Lane and Charles Lane of Bath, Dale Lane of Havana, five sisters, Ruthann Lynch of Mississippi, Gertie Bubert, Sally Ann Brown of Jacksonville, Doris Peterman of Summum and Dessie Prater of Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant child, sister Betty Hughes and brother, Jerry Lee Lane.

Mr. Lane served in the US Navy for six years. He had most recently worked as a cook at Pizza Hut in Havana. He was a graduate of Lewistown High School.

Cremation rites have been accorded and no services have been planned at this time.
