Joyce E. Cassen 1917-2010
Joyce E. Cassen of Petersburg, died March 6, 2010 at the Memorial Medical Center. She was born July 6, 1917 in Springfield to George and Florence Miller Kern. Joyce married Harold Cassen. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (husband Roger) Reimer and grand daughter, Kayla Reimer of Petersburg. She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother. Mrs. Cassen was a member of the Tallula Christian Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral services. Burial will be in Farmers Point Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Evangelical Free Church.
