Juanita M. Hall

(1917 - 2006)

PETERSBURG- Juanita M. Hall, 88, died on Sunday, January 8, 2006 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. She was born on September 4, 1917 in Etowah, Arkansas to Harding Joel and Mollie Rebecca Davidson Medows. She married James "Bunk" Hall on October 2, 1948 in Washington D.C. He preceeded her in death in 1961.

She was a school teacher for more than 30 years. During the last 18 years she worked at the PORTA School District retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Garden Point Methodist Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Nita Beth (Ben) Kiningham of Petersburg, Rebecca (Andy) Rowe of Petersburg, Molly (John) Hall Buehner of Forsyth, and Priscilla H. Reynolds of Rock Creek. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at 10 am at the Central Presbyterian Church in Petersburg. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7 pm at the Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
