Judith Kay Werry Melvin, 68, of Havana, passed away at 10:36 a.m. on Friday, June 11, 2010 at Mason District Hospital in Havana. She was born October 28, 1941 in Canton, IL to John and Pauline (Bybee) Werry.

Ms. Melvin is survived by one sister, Dixie LaFary of Havana, two brothers, Richard Werry of Canton, David Werry of Normal, friend, Julie Burke of Havana as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jack Werry and sister, Karen Davis.

Ms. Melvin attended church at the Havana Church of Christ. She was a LPN and had worked at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Warren Hughes will officiate.
