Havana, IL - Laura Jean Huffman, 59, of Havana, IL died at 9:52 am Fri. May 12, 2006 at her residence. She was born Jan. 2, 1947 at Bath, IL the daughter of Raymond and Blanche Hobbs Goben. She married Chet Huffman in July of 1995 in Lewistown, IL and he survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Michael and Scott Masten both of Havana, and Scott Masten of Bushnell, IL. Three stepdaughters, Rita Heyen of Kingsley, KS, Renee Butler of Forest City, IL and Roxana Giese of Montgomery, IL along with two step-sons, Robby Huffman of Chandlerville, IL and Rick Huffman of Greenview, IL also survive. Three grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren also survive along with one brother, Raymond Goben, Jr of Beardstown, IL and four sisters, Linda Little of Albion, IL, Dorothy Turnell of Pekin, IL, Shirley Morris of Kilbourne, IL and Bernita Nunn of Bath, IL

She was a school bus monitor for Havana Schools.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm Monday at the Bath Cemetery at Bath, IL. Visitation will be held from 1 until 2 pm Monday at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana.
