Also surviving are three sons, Gary (Donna) Green of Mason City, IL; Michael (Judy) Green of South Whitley, IN; and Steven Green of Havana. One daughter, Cheryl (Steve) Spencer of Beardstown, IL also survives. Mr Green is survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; one brother, Carl Green of Havana and two sisters, Maurine Row and Velma Gaines, both of Havana. He was preceded in death by one daughter and seven brothers and sisters. He was a veteran of WWII serving in both the Navy and Army, and a life member of Havana Post #6408 where he was a past commander. He worked for Caterpillar, Inc for 31 years retiring in 1981. He worked in the E. Peoria plant as a welder. He also farmed in the Havana area.

Graveside services will be held Sat. Feb. 11, 2006 at 1:00 pm at the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. There will be no visitation and memorials may be made to Havana Post #6408 VFW.
