Lillie Jane Bain 1910 -2008 Havana, IL - Lillie Jane Bain, 97, of Havana passed away at
1:48 pm Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008 at the Havana Healthcare Center. She was born
Nov. 11, 1910 in Easton, IL the daughter of David C. and Lille Jane Cooper VanEtten. She married Arthur A. Bain April 9, 1944 in Easton and he died Dec.
11, 1991. Mrs. Bain had taught school in Mason County for 19 years, was
a member of the First United Methodist Church in Havana and had been a member of
the Royal Neighbors of America for over 75 years. She is survived my many nieces and nephews. She was the last
living of 13 children. Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, Sept. 26, 2008
at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana conducted by Rev. Sidney Davis. Visitation
will be held one hour prior to the service and burial will be in the Easton
Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Easton United Methodist
