Linda Phillips

(1942 - 2010)

Havana, IL – Linda Faye Phillips, 67 of Havana passed away at 7:00 am Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010 at the Havana Healthcare Center in Havana. She was born Dec. 25, 1942 in Lebanon, MO the daughter of Clifton and Dorothy Anglen Phillips.

Linda was a member of the Havana Church of Christ, enjoyed crafts, bingo, games and listening to music and reading books with her great nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed joking and laughing with patients and staff “Linda Lou” will be greatly missed. She had worked for Atwater farm for many years and retired from from housekeeping at the Lincoln Development Center.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Phillips of Havana; two brothers; Ronald Phillips and Carl Phillips both of Havana and one sister Glenda Long of Lacon, IL. Also surviving are two nephews, two nieces, two great nephews and one great niece. She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 3, 2010 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana conducted by Warren Hughes. Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery at Havana. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home (10:00 am until 11:00 am).
