Lois "Lodie" Alleta Peterson 1910 - 2008 Lois “Lodie” Alleta Peterson, 97, of Petersburg, died on Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at Menard Convalescent Center. She was born on September 29, 1910, in Petersburg to Hardy and Iona Hurd Peterson. She is survived by a niece Ann Peterson Williams. She was preceded in death by three sisters, and a brother. Ms. Peterson was a member of the First Christian Church in Petersburg. She had graduated from Petersburg Harris High School. She had worked for the Illinois State Police. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 22, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Oakland Cemetery. Rev. Jon Bormann will be officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded.
