Louann Kirchner

Chandlerville, IL - Louann Kirchner, 78, of Chandlerville passed away at 11:57 pm Wed. Nov. 19, 2008 at the Sunny Acres Home in Petersburg. She was born March 19, 1930 in Canton, IL the daughter of Robert and Faye Fulton Dearing. She married Roy F. "Bud" Kirchner June 1, 1952 and he survives.

Louanne loved life, fishing and following her grandchildren in sporting events. She retired from Mobil Chemical after formerly operating R. & L. Sundries and Louann’s Kut and Kurl. After her retirement she worked at Tays Palace and The Virginia Inn making wonderful pies and salads.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Melanie (Robert) Taylor and Julie (Mike) Potts both of Chandlerville and one son, Kim Kirchner of Ashland, IL. Also surviving is one sister Bobette Vaughn of Chandlerville, eight grandchildren, Jason Taylor of Bath, Ann Henry and Mary Danner of Chandlerville, K.C., Kellen and Kyson Kirchner all of Ashland, Riley Potts of Springfield, and Elissa Potts of Beardstown; along with nine great greandaughters, three nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Betty Fulton-Thomas and one grandson, Nathan Potts.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008 at the Lintner-Hurley Funeral Home in Chandlerville conducted by Rev. Jim Waterman. Burial will be in the Chandlerville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Chandlerville Cemetery, Chandlerville Christian Church or the Sunny Acres Employees Christmas Party.
