Louella Moss (1917 - 2010)
Louella Geraldine Moss, 92, of Petersburg passed away Saturday January 2, 2010 at St. Johns Hospice. Louella was born January 10, 1917 in Oakford, the daughter of Harry and Ollie Edna Watkins Pedigo. She married Walter E. Moss in Bowling Green, Mo. May 24, 1941. Louella worked in the laundry department for F.W. Means, and also later at St. Johns Hospital, in the laundry department as well. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Petersburg. She is survived by two sons Raymond (Georgia) Moss of Springdale, Ar., and Claude (Linda) Moss of Tallula, four daughters, Loretta (Dalton) Boehm of Tallula, Twila Miller, Joan Castleberry, and Rhonda Horn all of Petersburg, twenty two grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Walter, one daughter Donna Clifford, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three brothers, and seven sisters Funeral services will be held Thursday January 7, 2010, at 11:00 am at Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg. Visitation will be held one hour before services. Pastor Thomas Eggley will be officiating. Burial will be in Kilbourne Cemetery. Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg is in charge of arrangements.
