M. Louise Maatz 1922 - 2008 M. Louise Maatz, 86, of Mason City, died on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at 2:20 pm at Mason City Area Nursing Home in Mason City. She was born on July 15, 1922 in Greenview to Rennig and Sofia Heemcke Maatz. She is survived by two nephews, James McQuinn of Creve Couer and Harold (Sherry) McQuinn of Mason City; one great nephew; three great nieces; five great great nephews; five great great nieces; two great great great nephews; and two great great great nieces. One brother, Richard Maatz, and one sister, Marie D. McQuinn, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 8, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Hurley Funeral Home in Greenview. Nash Shawgo will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mason City Area Nursing Home.
