Lucille Irene Willis

(1932 - 2006)

Lucille I. Willis, 73, of Petersburg, died on February 7, 2006 at Sunny Acres Home in Petersburg. She was born on February 27, 1932 in Petersburg to Lloyd and Eliza Bergman Dick. She married Samuel Willis on November 8, 1948. He preceded her in death on June 27, 1995. 

Mrs. Willis is survived by four sons, Robert (Debra) Willis, Dennis (Terry) Willis, Edward (Madonna) Willis, and Wayne (Nancy) Willis all of Greenview; one daughter, Debra (Terry) Stark of Missouri; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Judy Kodatt of Springfield, and Alice Ritter of Mississippi. SHe was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, and one sister.

Mrs. Willis was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Petersburg.

Funeral services will be held on Friday February 10, 2006 at the First Baptist Church in Petersburg. The Revs. Gene Blissett and Thomas Eggley will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service also at the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Irish Grove Cemetery in Middletown, IL.
