1921 - 2010
Lucille A. Clark, 89, of
Petersburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 10:12 am at St. Johns
Hospital. She was born on October 12, 1921 in Athens to Leon and Belle Clark.
She is survived by nephew,
Tim Baker of Decatur; two nieces, Cindy Baker of Decatur and Trisha Poffenberger
of Ohio; great nephew, Aaron Baker of Decatur; and two great nieces, Tara and
Renee Baker, both of Decatur.
She was preceded in death
by her parents; two brothers, Leon, Jr. and Ronald (Hap) Clark; and sister,
Dorthy Baker.
After her sister Dorthy
passed away she replaced her sister as an adopted grandmother to the children
and grandchildren of her niece and nephew, Tim and Cindy Baker.
She was an administrative
assistant for CIPS, retiring after 35 years of service. She was a member of
United Methodist Church of Petersburg, Ladies Auxiliary of Petersburg, and DAR.
Funeral services will be
held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 11:00 am at Hurley Funeral Home in
Petersburg. Rev. John Vidakovich will be officiating. Visitation will be held
one hour prior to the funeral services. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
