Havana, IL - Lucille Freda Trimpe, 86, of Havana passed away at 9:15 am Wed. Aug. 30, 2006 at her residence. She was born Nov. 24, 1919 in Easton, IL the daughter of Henry A. And Minnie Schierbeck Wendt. She married Richard H. Trimpe Dec. 28, 1937 in Muscatine, IA and he died Nov. 20, 1992.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Havana, the Easton Woman’s Club and the Havana Woman’s Club.

Mrs. Trimpe is survived by a daughter-in-law, Carol Lea (Jim) Raridon of Orr, MN; one grandson Chris Raridon; two great grandchildren, Ariel and Dakota and one brother, Robert Wendt of Havana and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, her parents, four sisters, one brother and one grandson.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Sat. Sept. 2, 2006 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Havana conducted by Pastor John H. Beiderwieden. Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 pm Friday at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
