Luella Langenbahn (1920-2005) Luella Langenbahn of Mason City, died 2:50 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. She was born October 18, 1920 to Adolph and Christina (Behrends) Lohrenz. She married Albert Langenbahn on February 10, 1939. He died March 3, 2003. Survivors include 2 sons: Dale and Harold Langenbahn of Springfield, IL; one daughter: Ruby Wagner of San Jose, IL; one sister: Lena Lussenhop of Mason City, IL; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and one grandchild. Mrs. Langenbahn was a nurses aid at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln for 16 and half years upon retiring in 1973. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 29, 2005 at St. Columba Catholic Church in Mason City. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Lincoln, Illinois. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Mason County Ambulance. |
