Luella Margaret Bottom 1920 - 2008
Luella Margaret Bottom, 87, of Tallula, died on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 11:20 a.m. at Menard Convalescent Center in Petersburg. She was born on November 21, 1920 in Tallula to Fred and Ella Hudson Finney. She married Charles Antle in 1943. She later married Burl F. Bottom in 1964. She is survived by two stepsons, James (Diane) Bottom of Tallula, and C. Michael Bottom of Springfield; a step daughter, Joyce Babington of Suffolk, Virginia; several cousins; five step grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burl. She had been a secretary for the Auditor of Public Accountants and the CPA firm of Turnbull & Shussele. She had attended Harris High School and Browns Business College. She was a member of the Tallula Christian Church. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 21, 2008
at 11:00 am at the Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg. Rev. Wayne Meyer will be
officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
