Lynette Kay Rich

1951 - 2010

Lynette Kay Rich, 59, of Chandlerville, passed away at St. John's Hospital in Springfield at 7:38 a.m. on Monday, October 25, 2010. She was born June 2, 1951 in Canton, IL to John and Barbara (Lynn) Ogden. She married Danny Rich, July 18, 1969 in Hermann, MO. He survives.

Mrs. Rich is survived by her husband, Danny, two sons, Danny and Travis Rich and daughter, Molly Rich, all of Chandlerville. She is also survived by two sisters, Sheila (Gil) Shilling of Wasilla, AK, Connie (Darrell) Rich of Columbus, MS, and four brothers, Barney (Jane) Ogden, Mike (Yvonne) Ogden, Pat (Krista) Ogden, all of Allerton, IA and Dean Ogden of Galesburg, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Rich was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She loved to sew and spend time with her family.

Funeral services will be held at Bethel Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2010. Visitation will be held at Lintner-Hurley Funeral Home in Chandlerville from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2010. Burial will follow the services at Bethel Cemetery. Rev. Duane Turley will officiate.
