Mable M. Chenoweth 1923 - 2007
Havana, IL - Mable M. Chenoweth, 84, of Havana passed away at
11:32 pm at Riverview Manor Care in East Peoria. She was born June 20, 1923 in
Mason County the daughter of John and Iva Barndollar Conway. She married Joseph
Chenoweth in 1952 in Dunferline, Illinois and he preceded her in death Feb. 20,
1991 Mrs. Chenoweth worked for many years as a waitress and
bartender in the Havana area.
She is survived by one daughter; Patricia Stillman of Peoria;
one step-daughter Lana Bainbridge of Milwaukee, WI; five grandchildren, two
step-grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. One brother, George Conway,
of Havana also survives along with several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, Oct. 1, 2007 at the
Hurley Funeral Home in Havana conducted by Rev. Shane Stillman. Burial will be
in the Laurel Hill Cemetery at Havana. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until
7:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the
Arthritis Foundation or the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be
