Mac B. Riner 1923 - 2009 Mac B. Riner, 86, of Havana, passed away at Mason District Hospital on December 20, 2009 at 11:05 p.m. He was born March 5, 1923 in Fayetteville, TN to William and Annie (Brewer) Riner. He married Jeannette Towery on March 4, 1958 in Shelbyville, TN. She survives. Mr. Riner is survived by his wife, of Havana, one son, Bill Riner of Havana, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Mr. Riner was of the Baptist faith. He served in the US Army from 1944-46 in anti-aircraft and artillery in the European Theater of WWII. Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
