Margaret G. Amant 1921- 2008 Havana, IL - Margaret G. Amant, 86, of Havana passed away at
8:18 pm Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008 at the Havana Healthcare Center. She was born
April 16, 1921 in Fulton County the daughter of Glenn and Nancy L. Tippey
Curless. She married Richard Amant Feb. 7, 1959 and he preceded her in death May
11, 1992. Mrs. Amant was an accountant who owned her own business in
Havana. She was a member of the Lakewood Golf Association and the Havana Post
#6408 VFW Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother. Services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008 at
the Hurley Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Steckley officiating. Burial will be in
the Laurel Hill Cemetery.
