Margaret M. Walker 1936 - 2010
Margaret M. (Peggy) Walker, 73, of Bath, IL died Saturday, March 6, 2010. She was born December 15, 1936 in Easton, IL, the daughter of Raymond and Ruth Shores. Surviving is her daughter, Linda (Chad) Woolsey of Bath, one granddaughter, Melissa Bridges of St. Louis, MO, four grandsons, Ryan, Aron, Brandon and Jeremy Deacon, formerly of Beardstown, IL, two great grandchildren, one sister, Dorla (Harry) Reavis of Divernon, Il and her beloved dog Rosie. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Vicki J. Walker Deacon of Quincy, IL and one sister, Patsy (John) Curless of Astoria, IL. She graduated from Easton High School in 1954. She worked for the United States Army for a number of years, Keystone in Bartonville, IL then the State of Illinois, retiring in 1996. Her wishes were to be cremated. A graveside memorial service will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Pets Without Parents of Central Illinois and may be sent to the funeral home for collection.
