Marie F. Allen (1915-2009) Marie F. Allen, 94, of Mason City died at 2:47am on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at the Mason City Area Nursing Home. She was born August 3, 1915 the daughter of Frank and Augusta (Bahl) Dierker in Havana, IL. She married Roy Allen, he preceded her in death. Survivors are one daughter: Sharon McAfee of Springfield; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; one sister: Irma Fletcher of Mason City; two sister-in-laws: Audrey Dierker of Manito and Edith Dierker of Peoria. She is also preceded in death by one infant daughter, two sisters and three brothers. Graveside services will be at 10:00am, Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the Mason City Cemetery, Pastor John Johnson will officiate. Memorials may be left to the MASON CITY AREA NURSING HOME: ACTIVITY DEPARTMENT, or Mason City Christ Lutheran Church. Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements.
