Marie  Blessman

(1917-2005)

Marie E. Blessman of Western Springs, IL died Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at LaGrange Hospital.  She was born to Henry and Hannah (Wallbaum) Stelter. She married Walter Blessman and he survives.

Mrs. Blessman was a retired grade school teacher for Brookfield School District #95.  She also taught in the Havana Schools for several years.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Western Springs. 

Survivors include her husband, son: Robert W. (wife, Rosemary) Blessman; daughter: Barbara K. Blessaman; two grandchildren: Andrew and James Blessman; three brothers:  Julius (wife, Irma) Stelter, Louis (Cecilia) Stelter, Henry Stelter; sister: Irma Fawley.  She was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and Herbert. 

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Friends and family will gather at 7 PM on Monday, April 17, 2005 at Grace Lutheran Church in Western Springs for a memorial service.  Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 23, 2005 at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana, IL. The Rev. John Beiderwieden will be officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to Donor's Choice.
