Havana, IL - Marie M. Berg, 80, of Havana, IL died at 5:30 pm Fri. Oct. 28, 2005 at the Mason City Area Nursing Home. She was born April 1, 1925 to Reinhard and Charlotte Bachman Miller. She married Charles Berg Dec. 13, 1945 in Hancock Co, IL and he died Aug. 30, 3004.

Surviving are 2 sons, Michael (Fay) Berg and Kent (Penny) Berg both of Havana; 2 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also surviving is 1 sister, Betty Gasberry of Carthage, IL. She was an avid bowler, member of Havana Bowling Assoc., and WIBC.

Services will be held at 10:30 am Wed. Nov. 2, 2005 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana with Rev. Vince French officiating and burial in the Laurel Hill Cemetery at Havana. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 pm Tues. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Assoc. or the American Heart Association.
