Florence Marie Selby

1936 - 2010

Florence Marie Selby, 74, of Havana, passed away at Havana Health Care at 4:44 p.m. on Saturday, January 1, 2011. She was born May 1, 1936 in Havana to Garold and Florence (Watson) Houston. She married William Kenneth Selby on December 29, 1957. He preceded her in death on March 14, 2010.

Mrs. Selby is survived by two sons, Charles (Connie) Selby and Rick (Sandy) Selby, both of Havana, daughter, Anna (James) Richardson of Bath, 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson.  Also surviving are two brothers, Oscar Allen (Maxine) Houston of Havana, Eldon (Ilona) Houston of Phoenix, AZ, and one sister, Linda (William) Miller of Soreento, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 3 sisters.

Mrs. Selby was a member of the Havana Church of Christ, as well as VFW Post #6408 Auxillary.

Funeral services will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 with visitation one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Warren Hughes will officiate.
