Marjorie Crawford (1920-2009) Marjorie L. Crawford, 89, of Petersburg passed away October 9, 2009 at Menard Convalescent Center in Petersburg. She was born April 22, 1920, the daughter of Thomas and Flossie Underwood Cline. She married Emerson Crawford October 23, 1942 in Athens. Marjorie was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church in Petersburg. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Menard Electric Company. She is survived by one son John (Lucretia) Crawford of Clinton, two grandchildren, and one sister Bebe McKean of Springfield. Marjorie was preceded in death by her loving husband Emerson, two brothers, and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 14, 2009 at Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service also at the funeral home. Rev. Julie Peterson will be officiating. Memorial Contributions may be made to Central Presbyterian Church in Petersburg. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Petersburg.
