Havana, IL - Marjorie C. Grubb, 91 of Cincinnati, OH, formerly of Havana died at 11:30 am March 12, 2006 at the Inpatient Hospice of Cincinnati. She was born Aug. 10, 1914 in Easton, IL the daughter of John G. and Bess Samuell Voigt. She married Norman B. Grubb Dec. 22, 1935 in Dwight, IL and he died Sept. 11, 1999.

She is survived by one daughter, Sarah (Maynard) Johnson of Cincinnati, OH and one son, John Norman (Sarah) Grubb of Lincoln, NE. Six grandchildren, Rachel Zahnd, Anders R. B. Johnson, Jessica Grubb, Kirsten Thaveneh, Leia Gadeken, and Monica B. Grubb along with seven great grandchildren, Honesty and Sage Zahnd, Hunter, Austin and Tatum Thavenet, Kaiyah and MacKenna Gadeken.

She was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Havana, the DAR, DAC, Magno Charta Dames, Colonial Order of the Crown, and had a lifetime interest in history. In her early life she had taught in rural schools in Illinois.

Services will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, March 23, 2006 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana, conducted by Father James Fedosuk. Burial will be on Friday in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.
