Mary E. Moulton
(1919 - 2005)
Mary Elizabeth Moulton, 85, of Petersburg died July 4, 2005 at the Menard Convalescent Center.
She was born December 24, 1919 in Petersburg, the daughter of Richard and Louise Doyen Godbey. She married James C. Harris in 1939; he died in 1956. She then married Dr. H.K. Moulton in 1979; he died in 1984.
An infant daughter, Barbara; a brother, John Godbey; and a sister, Norma Rebbe preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, James E. (Wife, Polly) Harris of Wake Forest, NC; two sisters, Dorothy Fielden and Evelyn Rebbe; a sister-in-law, Sandy Godbey all of Petersburg; three grandchildren, Gail Duke and Teresa Harris of Wake Forest, NC; Eric Harris of Orlando, FL; five great grandchildren, Jordan, Megan, and Evan Duke; Morgan Grace Harris all of Wake Forest, NC; Cameron Brian Harris of Orlando, FL; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Moulton was employed by Dr. T.V. Plews for over two decades. After his death she was then employed by Dr. H.K. Moulton; and later worked at the Louise Shop.
She is a member of the Central Presbyterian Church in Petersburg.
Visitation will be held Thursday, july 7, 2005 at the Hurley Funeral Home from 6:30 - 9pm. Funeral services will be Friday, July 8, 2005 at the Central Presbyterian Church at 2 pm.
Memorials may be made to the Central Presbyterian Church or Menard County Rescue Squad.
