Mary J. Franza

Mary J. Franza, 88, of Petersburg, died May 6, 2005 at 8:15 pm. She was born on May 8, 1916 in Murphysboro, IL to Arch and Mayme Rice McDowell. She married Louis Franza in 1946. He preceded her in death.

She worked as a nurse's aide. She was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church in Petersburg.

She is survived by two daughters, Diane (Frank) Booher of Greenview, Clara Franza of Athens, and four grandchildren.

Services were held on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at 11am at the St. Peter Catholic Church. Visitation was from 9:30 till 11 am.
